On 2023-06-20, the Lithuanian-Uzbekistan trading house UAB “UZ-EURO TRADE HOUSE” was officially opened.
The company UAB “UZ-EURO TRADE HOUSE” works with the support of the Embassy, the goal is to demonstrate the entire export product line of Uzbek companies, to increase the country’s export potential, to create sustainable and long-term cooperation with foreign partners. On the order of the President of Uzbekistan, trading houses are opened in each country. The purpose of which is to increase and strengthen business and economic relations with Europe, at the same time to open new business opportunities for its entrepreneurs. Currently, it is the first and only official Uzbek house in Lithuania, helping both Uzbek businessmen to establish themselves in Lithuania and European businessmen in Uzbekistan to solve issues related to trade from A to Z.
During the classic red ribbon cutting ceremony, the ribbon was cut by Eglė Markevičiūtė – Deputy Minister, Ministry of Economy and Innovation of the Republic of Lithuania and Gairat Fazilov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
